About the Role:
Are you an independent, highly skilled pediatric OT looking for a rewarding, flexible caseload? Spectacular Kids Occupational Therapy is seeking a dedicated contractor to provide maternity leave coverage in our Bronxville, NY clinic starting this December. In this role, you will be the primary clinician managing exciting new incoming client inquiries, initial evaluations, and ongoing treatment plans.
You will have full access to our streamlined SimplePractice system to manage your scheduling and documentation seamlessly.
Clinical & Case Management Focus:
Our primary clinic population includes children with diverse neurodevelopmental and physical needs. You will be responsible for evaluating and treating clients with a heavy focus on:
Sensory Processing & Integration
Emotion & Self-Regulation Strategies
Feeding Therapy (SOS approach or similar experience preferred)
Neurodevelopmental Support
Developmental support
Therapeutic Use of Self: Extensive utilization of therapeutic use of self to connect with, motivate, and co-regulate with clients.
Collaborative Communication: Maintain ongoing, high-touch communication with families and school teams as needed.
Private Pay Administration: Issue client superbills at the end of each month, handle occasional insurance communications, and generate written progress reports upon client request.
Case Management: Assist families with case managerial tasks, including researching and recommending beneficial schools, camps, and extracurricular programs.

Requirements:
Active New York State License in Occupational Therapy (OT).
Valid NPI number.
Proof of individual professional liability insurance.
Demonstrated clinical experience in pediatric sensory regulation, feeding, and neurodevelopment.
Exceptional communication and case management skills aligned with our high-touch, family-centered care model.

Spectacular Kids Occupational Therapy is a small, specialized pediatric outpatient private practice providing innovative, client-focused, and family-centered occupational therapy services to children from birth through adolescence.
