About Spectacular Kids OT
Spectacular Kids Occupational Therapy is a boutique, family-centered pediatric practice providing individualized care from infancy through adolescence. Our approach blends pediatric development and mental wellness, with specialized support in emotional regulation, sensory processing, behavioral support, self-awareness, feeding, early intervention, motor development, and everyday functioning.
Through evidence-based, child-led care, we look beyond individual challenges to understand the whole child and build strong foundations for participation at home, at school, and in the community. Our practice also incorporates expertise in early childhood development, sensory-based feeding, primitive reflexes, and physical and mental wellness to support each child’s unique developmental journey.
At Spectacular Kids, every child deserves to feel seen, supported, capable, and confident. Whether a child is neurodivergent, navigating emotional or developmental challenges, or simply needs additional support, our goal is to help them build the skills and confidence to engage more fully in everyday life.
Where it all Started
Spectacular Kids Occupational Therapy began with a simple belief: every child deserves to feel seen for who they are—not defined by a diagnosis, challenge, behavior, or difficult moment.
With a longstanding passion for mental health, emotional regulation, and child development, Kaliyah envisioned a space where quality and connection came before quantity. A place where children could show up as their whole, wonderfully unique selves—sensory needs, big emotions, developing skills and all—and receive meaningful support without ever being made to feel that something was “wrong” with them.
That belief inspired the name Spectacular Kids. Every child who walks through our doors is spectacular—regardless of ability, diagnosis, background, or where they are in their developmental journey. And tucked within Spectacular is a subtle nod to the spectrum, honoring neurodiversity while reflecting an important truth: a diagnosis may help us understand and support a child, but it never defines who they are or who they can become.
